Qilin Crab monster thing with 20th Century Pear / 麒麟松葉ガニのかいぶつと20世紀梨

IIt was a contest for making a sand sculpture that can appeal Tottori city. My idea was to make some thing that related to Tottori city. I made a creature combined a Qilin, which is in a traditional dance in Tottori area called "Kirin jishi mai" (just like Chinese Lion Dance, but with Qilin), and one of Tottori's local specialities "Matsuba gani" (Chionoecetes opilio, a kind of crab). That huge sphere is another speciallity of Tottori, called "20seiki nashi" (20th century pear)

鳥取をアピールする作品を作るコンテストとのことだったので、麒麟獅子と松葉ガニを合体させた。手前の丸いのは20世紀梨。
